The Heia Safari Ranch is a rustic and peaceful retreat, set in a tranquil African bushveld, only a 30 minute drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Are you looking for a private – corporate - Year end function, luncheon, birthday party, product launches, incentives, teambuilding events, reunion or any other event? We can cater for up to 600 guests. A marquee can be hired in at an additional charge. We at Heia Safari Ranch would be happy to assist and help you in planning your special function to make sure that all details are taken care of.
Main dining room
A thatched enclosed room for up to 100 guests (including a dance floor) without a dance floor we can cater for 120 guests. The venue hire is R 5,100.00
The Kudu
A unique shaped room with African ambience is ideal for smaller functions for up to 40 guests (including a dance floor) , without a dance floor for up to 50 guests. The venue hire is R 3,200.00
The Springbok
A very cozy and intimate room for up to 32 guests, excluding a dance floor. The venue hire is R 1 500.00
Lake Heritage (Weather permitting only)
This unique setting on the shores of our Lake Heritage can cater for up to 5000 guests. This venue only caters for fast food eg. Hamburgers, hot dogs, pancakes, soup, curry and rice. This is ideal for any corporate event.

Sunday Program
We are pleased to inform you that Heia Safari Ranch is well-known for our Sunday program which entails the following: Barbeque buffet from 12H30 - 14H00, followed by the Famed Mzumba Tribal Dancers on request only from 14h00 to 16h00. We require a minimum number of 20 guests per show. Should there be a confirmed date when the Mzumba Tribal Dances have been booked, this will be highlighted on the website. Children are welcome, for further information please see attached.
MENUS
Kindly note: we require a minimum number of guests for a spit braai - 40 guests, buffet and barbeque - 30 guests and set menus - 10 guests
OTHER ARRANGEMENTS
Decoration, music and any other extras can be arranged at an additional quotation or we can recommend a few companies. You are welcome to bring your own flowers, decoration or music. If the function continues after midnight we will charge R 40.00 per person, per hour for the barmen and waitron on duty. A fee of R 450.00 will be charged for the venue hire after 12PM midnight
BAR ARRANGEMENTS
All liquor has to be supplied by the hotel. Wine and Champagne has to be selected from our wine list 3 weeks in advance. Kindly discuss bar arrangements in advance (cash, limit or account).
GENERAL
The venue hire charges include linen, cutlery, crockery, glassware, furniture.
BOOKINGS
We require a written confirmation and a non refundable deposit of R 1,500.00 to secure the booking and a 50% deposit of the food cost and a full payment for accommodation within 7 days after your date of confirmation. A provisional booking will be automatically released after 7 days. Any booking is subject to availability.
